Business Development Executive

1. Business Development (New Clients) – 70%

  • Identify, approach, and develop new clients in the e-commerce and digital commerce space.
  • Act as a solution consultant by understanding client needs and proposing suitable e-commerce, performance marketing, and digital solutions.
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with decision-makers, with support from senior team members when needed.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts aligned with client objectives and company offerings.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closing.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.

2. Account Management (Existing Clients) – 30%

  • Support and manage a portfolio of existing clients as a key contact point.
  • Build understanding of client business goals and propose performance-driven solutions to maintain and grow accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Performance, Content, Creative, Operations, Tech) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor service quality, timelines, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities under guidance from senior team members.

3. Reporting & Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with E-commerce Operations and Content Marketing teams to support client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Translate client requirements into clear internal briefs and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Track project progress and support the preparation of performance updates and reports for clients.
  • Proactively flag potential risks, issues, or opportunities and work with internal teams to address them.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within a marketing agency, e-commerce, or digital solutions environment.
  • Basic to good understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing ecosystems (TikTok, Shopee, Meta, etc.).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams and manage client-facing tasks.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Results-driven, proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
